The ESRT Auxiliary was established in 2015 to support the mission of Eastern Shore Repertory Theatre (ESRT). Members assist with showtime needs, promotions, fundraising, community service projects, and more. Funds raised by the ESRT Auxiliary through concessions and merchandise sales at ESRT productions are used for scholarships for ESRT alumni and current and prospective students.
Membership in the ESRT Auxiliary is open to adults and children who are interested in supporting ESRT and its mission of providing innovative, high-quality theatre experiences for the Eastern Shore community. No previous theater experience is necessary to join the auxiliary - all we require is a desire to support the arts on the Eastern Shore!
We offer four levels of Auxiliary membership with perks such as show tickets, t-shirts and invitations to special events. Membership forms are available here. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
Meet our 2019-2020 Auxiliary Officers!
(from left to right)
Braida Sharpe is Treasurer of the Auxiliary, as well as the House Manager for many ESRT productions! Beyond volunteering behind the scenes and helping Erin Langley achieve her vision, she enjoys supporting her daughter, Jodi Johnson, who has grown up in musical theater.
Laurie Stanky is the Vice President of the ESRT Auxiliary, and loves being a small part of making the shows run smoothly so that the magic can happen! She has been an Eastern Shore resident most of her life, and currently lives in Daphne. Her daughter, Corrine, has been involved in ESRT since 2017. She is married to an awesome theater dad, Kyle, and they have two precious, younger children.
Mandy Barber is so excited about her role as Auxiliary Secretary. Her daughter, Hayden, started with ESRT as a 4th grader, and Mandy jumped right in with volunteering. She says, "When you get involved with the auxiliary, ESRT really starts feeling like a family for us parents, as well as the kids! Her favorite part is working the shows, and she is especially proud of the headset she gets to wear.
Leslie Guilian is President of the ESRT Auxiliary, which she says is an honor and a lot of fun! She is mom to Crane, Charlotte, and Virginia, all of whom have been involved in ESRT productions. Leslie and her family live in Fairhope and love being involved in their church and community.
