Be a part of the Eastern Shore Rep magic that happens on the bluff each year by auditioning for Cats! The Jellicle Cats come out to play on one special night of the year—the night of the Jellicle Ball. One by one they tell their stories for the amusement of Old Deuteronomy, their wise and benevolent leader, who must choose one of the Cats to ascend to The Heaviside Layer and be reborn into a whole new Jellicle life.
• Audition any time between 5pm and 8pm on Jan 18
• Please fill out online audition form before 3pm on Jan 18
• Students in 3rd grade through adults are welcome to audition
• Please prepare a 16 - 32 bar Musical theatre audition piece
• No experience Necessary
• please bring an accompaniment track
• SHOW DATES ARE MAY 2 - 4, 2024

what to expect
Auditions are necessary to cast each of our shows and typically take place in January for our Bluff show and August for our Fall show. Follow us on social media and sign up for our newsletter to be the first to know!
Wear something casual that you feel your best in. If you are getting ready for callbacks, be sure to put your hair back, grab a water bottle, and change into dance/athletic clothing.
what to wear
Bring a great attitude! For Shrek auditions in the fall you do not need to prepare anything beforehand. Just come ready to show us all of the great things about you!
